Penelope and Coco

Just wanted to share with you a great brand I have become aware of called Penelope and Coco. Great, unique, vintage, quality, models-off-duty, handmade shoes.

This brand is based in the US, LA to be precise and I get the vibe that this brand doesn't want to be seen as following trends, they want to provide for a real niche vintage loving new romantic with a rock edge kinda gal. But with there take on the Oxford brogue's and the 'bother' boots with a twist they can't help but be bang on trend.

Emma Watson spotted in a pair.
These beauties do come at a price and if I could afford them I would certainly purchase a pair; a unique and beautiful modern day- everyday shoe! Shoe love <3

Sale Of The Day & Get The Look

Shorts; now a wardrobe staple worn whatever the weather. Layered up with tights and socks in winter and  bold and brave-bare legged in summer. We're seeing them more and more in the shops and are worn for work or play, they're not just for the beach these days.

Wang S/S10
Diesel Black Gold S/S11

As far as autumn/winter trends go, and there's a few.... anything leather, suede, velvet lace and camel, red or gold coloured. I have something for sale that combines a few of these key trends....

Also -Get The Look; as seen on Sienna Miller, in her suede Topshop shorts.

Get Them Here

Vintage Topshop suede shorts with lace up detail. Camel/sand coloured suede wear like Sienna Miller. With details seen on past and curent collections, a style to keep hold of!

Hermione's all grown up.

Harry Potter fans will be delighted to hear the latest of the never ending movies latest edition has recently been released. I must admit I'm not a fan, so shoot me, but Emma Watson I find quite intriguing. Her latest crop was a reaction to the end of her Harry Potter filming days and chance to step away from her character Hermione Granger. The new do suggests her days as a girl are over and she is becoming a well groomed fashionable young woman.

How amazing did she look at the latest London Premiere? I think she looks knock out. I wasn't 100% convinsed when I first caught glimpse of her elfin locks but this sophisticated shinny side sweep looks so elegant and hip. Whilst I wouldn't condone see through lace on most people I think she is young enough and contrasted with the sophisticated hair she's pulled it off. Hermoine's all grown up and one to watch!

Sale Of The Day

The Marant Bow

Isabel Marant has a huge following at the moment. A favourite label for the models-off-duty, Parisian street chic and probably one of the most copied labels on the high street. The bow featured on the shoes and waists of the Autumn/Winter catwalk and has become a real talking point and a detail easy to copy.

I'm selling this fantastic vintage belt which will help you achieve a similar look.

Vintage soft black leather from St Michael at M&S. Wrap around and tie for a Isabel Marant style tweak.

Get The Look

I've long been a fan of Burberry and Sarah Jessica Parker. The two combined I love. You've probably seen this image of SJP at the latest Burberry fashion show looking great, sporting another combination of two greats, the double breasted coat and the leather jacket.

To get the look, here's what I found....

Massimo Dutti have done an amazing version of the leather, double breasted coat and bonus also with a  trench coat style too. Now I can speak first hand.... this coat feels amazing having seen it in store whilst on holiday recently. Whilst it is quite a pricey high street version I'm sure it would be something you'd keep forever. The leather trench definitely a keeper!
